I was fearing this 'life blog' was drifting towards a 'korean entertainment obsessiveness' blog...
too late to go back now...it's what takes up most of my time anyway :p

My watching of Cinderella's Sister has finally come to an end (this was like...2 wks ago)
it took longer than i expected, because the episodes leading to the last 2 were kind of slow-paced with no particular cliff hangers
and on top of that, it had a rather sad atmosphere to it
but i love how it just tears your heart into shreds, i really cried out half way through the drama
after watching something that was worth much interpreting, i was up for something a bit lighter

seeing playful kiss is a remake of the original japanese manga, and like boys over flowers, a taiwan version was being produced before the korean one
but as usual, i always prefer the korean version and coincidentally, i've seen the taiwanese version of this story before
this only started airing at the start of september, but it's definitely an idol drama
starring kim hyun joong makes me fall head over heels for him all over again
just like how i felt the same way while watching lee min ho in personal taste 2 months ago

(no wonder he is picked as #1 most wanted celebrity boyfriend)

but in different ways

his acting has improved i reckon, and he is able to portray this character quite well
maybe because it's close to his true personality...?

for the female lead, i think the actress is well suited for the role
very likeable, and not annoying like how she is meant to be described as
she's stupid, but ur never going to blame her
compared to the other proposed candidates, i would prefer her over anyone else
i love her comical expressions
she is not a pretty girl but she has the potential to transform

even though some say the story lacks rise and fall, i don't really mind,
unlike cinderella's sister, there seems to be no sign of emotional connection
but i actually enjoy this type of light hearted drama
there is certainly chemistry between the couple

and he doesnt completely hate her
i can't wait to see them together , they are going to be soooo cute!

after cinderella's sister, this drama just HAS to bring a character with strong busan accent
it drives me crazy...even if they had to portray someone who is inferior i don't think it's necessary to put on an accent

now that it's airing in korea, i have to 'chase' each episode...i hate having to wait but the process is just so exciting! SPAZZ!!!
