[review] City Hunter

Finally finished watching City Hunter over the span of...2 weeks i think...?



I somewhat enjoyed this drama, particularly from the first few eps to half way through the drama
even developed this perve syndrome where LMH just appeared so perfect...
It was intense up til ep 15 or so and then it became less interesting...
the plot was still constructed in an unbelievably complex manner
with relationships entwined together, everyone just had to have something to do with each other
which introduced the struggles for various characters
but these struggles weren't elaborated and viewers can't really draw a connection to feel empathy
there were many parts that were unlogical, unlogically korean as well...
and there were parts that were left unresolved
the love line was definitely not strong enough
(maybe coz it's focused on action and revenge and not so much romance...)
and now that i think of it, it's not even necessary!
it was only there to spark interests
characters like kim nana become so insignificant in the last few chapters
the wrap up just wasn't so satisfying because there were a lot of things unexplained, unresolved
in fact, i still don't really get the ending...
watched til almost 6am in the morning syd time with Cathiee, we were both like wtf...

I enjoyed parts of it, but it still doesn't make it to my favourites list!
still extremely jealous of the min-min couple ><
