Before I know it, it’s already quarter two of 2019.
2018 was big, but it moved along in a subtle way.
Made some proud decisions, though I’d like to think instead, I was simply very blessed to reset my life.
As a year that I managed to put myself back on track and spent time adjusting, I suppose the coming year is about making progress and turning thoughts into action.
I've enjoyed making and feeling progress, becoming more active and pursuing a routine. I have become more persistent amongst stress and pain for gains, it's all worth it.
I think my mind is in a healthy place, and it just so happened that while I wanted to retrieve an old photo of me working at bakers delight, I came across all my old blog posts.
Astonished at my own writing and reflection back then, and realizing how important it is to keep old friends close to my heart.
Friendships feel different these days, and while I’m distracted with new companionships, it’s my old friends that I ought to cherish the most even though we have all moved onto different stages of life.
We don’t speak what’s on our mind anymore, because our mind is so occupied already at this time and age with an influx of digital media and information.
But never forget how it felt like being friends with one another.
